sites of queer epiphany
,,,
in soft sheets
against cold metal
where wind touches skin
where we cry because what once bound us is in pieces at our feet
where we dance divinely
as we do
hearts can sing here
we can live again,,,

binding fabrics
material (not seen but felt) weaved together by capitalistic//hetero-normative//discriminatory//violent//oppressive// systems and then pressed upon non-normative bodies//beings
to feel the binding of your being,,, for your unworthiness of being to be spoken as fact,, each time creates another stitch,, another interlocking of loops to pull apart,,,,,
i've been covered,,, and ive been uncovering
here it is,,, broken into pieces (estimated year of representation of body—-2021)
unraveling///unbounded liveness
(in direct response and relation to binding fabrics)
(in direct collaboration with synesthetic animations//tangible extensions of reality)
to be alive,, to dance (an active practice of aliveness),, to exist in joy and practice self love//self expression,,
for this active practice of being to unravel the binding fabrics pressed upon you,,
for the material to be with you still,,, but remade into something beautiful,,,,,
to believe we have this ability,,, that our dancing of life can free us from what attempts to contain us,, what attempts to kill us.
